A special visitor to the Rutgers practice bubble allowed Johnathan Lewis to enjoy what he says was "a once in a lifetime experience."
"You don't just go out and train with a starting NFL quarterback for 15 years," the sophomore said Tuesday about his recent workout with Giants quarterback Eli Manning. "It was amazing."
Lewis and Manning among a group of professional, college and retired players that worked out on a Sunday night in Piscataway earlier in March. Also in attendance were Giants receiver Brandon Marshall, former Rutgers receiver and current free agent Tim Wright, Penn State's Juwan Johnson and former Rutgers tailback Savon Huggins, who posted a photo of the group to Instagram.
