Rutgers coach Chris Ash wouldn't say who will start at quarterback against Indiana during his Monday press conference.
But he made it clear, without saying it directly, that sophomore Johnathan Lewis is not in the mix this week or, it seems, anytime soon.
"I'm not going to make a lot of comments about our players, other than the fact that Johnathan Lewis has really been improving and continues to work really hard," Ash said when asked if Lewis was a consideration along with freshman Artur Sitkowski or redshirt senior Gio Rescigno for the starting job or playing time.
