Rutgers has a new Chief Medical Officer | What it means and why it's important

At some point, Rutgers officials will meet with members of the NCAA’s Committee on Infractions in Indianapolis and point out all of the proactive measures the university has taken to prevent future violations of NCAA bylaws.

They will show how the university cleaned house once it became apparent that there was serious wrongdoing, firing the entire football coaching staff (including head coach Kyle Flood), the Athletics Director (Julie Hermann) and the doctor (Robert Monaco) who had oversight of the drug policy that went off the rails.
