After a memorable performance that took Madison Square Garden by storm, Corey Sanders officially received the recognition that he deserved by being named to the All-Big Ten Tournament team on Sunday by the media.
Sanders averaged 24.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 0.7 steals in 35.3 minutes spread over three games. He was 32 of 60 for 53.3% from the field, 1 of 5 for 20% from 3-point range, and 9 of 13 for 69.3% from the free throw line. He made countless big shots throughout the tournament and willed Rutgers to a best ever Quarterfinals appearance.
