Rutgers greats Mohamed Sanu, Leonte Carroo swap NFL jerseys after Falcons-Dolphins game

One leads Rutgers in career touchdown catches, the other in career receptions.

Two of the greatest wide receivers in Rutgers history crossed paths in the NFL for the first time Thursday night when Leonte Carroo's Miami Dolphins defeated Mohamed Sanu's Atlanta Falcons in Week 3 of the preseason.

The two friends commemorated the event by swapping jerseys afterward.

Sanu, who played at South Brunswick High School, mentored Carroo, a Plainfield native who grew up in Edison, during his days at Rutgers. Carroo often received and appreciated messages from Sanu after his biggest moments.
