One can debate just how much of a barrier has been put up since a Rutgers assistant coined the "Fence the Garden'' slogan after Chris Ash took over in December 2015. But one thing is for certain: Ohio State hasn't plucked New Jersey recruits like many thought they would over the last two recruiting cycles.
This season's Ohio State roster includes only two players from New Jersey — safety Jordan Fuller out of Old Tappan High School and offensive lineman Kevin Feder out of Don Bosco Prep.
While Feder has been slowed by a foot injury throughout his career and isn't currently on the Ohio State two-deep, Fuller has started all four games for the 3-1 Buckeyes this fall.
