This Rutgers staff has shown over the last couple years its ability to foster commitments through camps, after making in-person evaluations. Rutgers landed 10 of its 12 commitments in June as its camp season commenced, and its not a coincidence. It's something about the excitement of having so many recruits on campus, the media element, and tons of coaches and family member cheering their kids on, which make it a perfect setting for recruits to make their pledge.
Five of Rutgers 12 class of 2018 commitments were made after prospects camped at Rutgers and earned offers. And a few more were added, after getting recruits on campus, who even chose not to compete.
