After an expected lull in recruiting after last month's National Signing Day, Rutgers' football recruiting seems to be slowly but surely on the upswing as the spring season is officially upon us. Last week, the 2016 class got a late boost when it added JUCO transfer cornerback Kobe Marfo Jr. Just yesterday, the program added the second member of the 2017 class, athlete Bryce Watts.
Chris Ash and his staff will be looking to get more players to join Watts and Naijee Jones in the 2017 class over the next few weeks. Several recruits will be taking in practices and, of course, the grandest exhibition of them all, the spring game.
