Also in the quarterback conversation is Fordham Prep's (Bronx, N.Y.) Matt Valecce, who received his Rutgers offer last week, also after throwing in front of the staff. A 6-5, 210-pounder, Valecce holds 10 offers, with Rutgers, Boston College, and Pitt being the latest, as well as the teams perceived on top.
Valecce worked out at the Opening N.J. Regional and displayed a big arm and other tools that will make him successful at the FBS level of play, with a decision likely to come over the next couple months.
