— Rutgers Athletics (@RUAthletics) June 1, 2016It was announced today that Rutgers football will open their season at 2 p.m. eastern standard time and 11 a.m. pacific standard time on September 3rd on the road against the Washington Huskies in Seattle. For Rutgers fans traveling for this game, sadly the tailgating will be during the morning only. The game will be televised on the PAC-12 Network.
The last two times Rutgers opened their season on the road on the west coast, they played night games at Fresno State in 2013 and at Washington State in 2014.
