Rutgers football, Big Ten leading way in APR scores

PISCATAWAY – Three days after university graduation, Rutgers academics was back in the spotlight for all the right reasons.

Rutgers football, women’s lacrosse and women’s golf were recognized Wednesday by the NCAA for having Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores that ranked in the top 10 percent nationally within their respective sports.

It is the eighth straight year among the Top 10 percent for Rutgers football, the longest streak in the Big Ten.
