Rutgers depth chart before Washington game reveals new RB starter

PISCATAWAY â The last time Justin Goodwin headed 2,400 miles west to Seattle for a Rutgers football season opener, he was transitioning to a starting cornerback role after moving from running back late in training camp.

Goodwin will be among the Scarlet Knights making the same trip to Seattle, only this time the senior is penciled in as the starting running back for Saturday's 2 p.m. EST kickoff against Washington.

Goodwin, who began preseason camp listed as the second-team tailback, is atop the depth chart revealed by Rutgers coach Chris Ash on Monday.
