Sophomore guard Corey Sanders earned Honorable Mention All-Big Ten Honors this evening by both the coaches & media. He leads Rutgers in points, assists, and steals this season and ranks among the conference leaders in all three categories.

Sanders leads Rutgers and ranks among the Big Ten leaders with a 13.0 points-per-game scoring average. He also paces the Scarlet Knights in steals (1.4) and assists (3.3), while ranking tied for fifth and tied for 13th in the conference, respectively, in those categories. Sanders has scored in double-figures 21 times this season, including 14 of 18 Big Ten games.
