As Rutgers prepares for its third preseason camp under Chris Ash, there are questions at running back, wide receiver, three spots along the offensive line and the depth behind the starting defensive line.
But Ash says one position battle stands out above the rest:
The quarterback competition.
"We have several position battles that we have to settle when we go to
training camp,'' Ash said, "but none more important than the quarterback.''
Fifth-year senior Gio Rescigno, sophomore Johnathan Lewis and true freshman Artur Sitkowski will compete for the starting quarterback spot August 2 when training camp begins in Piscataway.
