After his first trip to watch a Giants football practice in the spring of 2016, Rutgers coach Chris Ash recalled receiving a text from Ben McAdoo thanking him for visiting and inviting him to return anytime.
Ash took the Giants coach up on the offer last May, attending an offseason-training session at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center.
"Every year I try to make a couple (offseason NFL practices),'' Ash told NJ Advance Media last week. "I went to Seattle and the Giants and the Jets a year ago.
