CHICAGO -- In the past, Rutgers' conference affiliation was a hindrance on the recruiting trail. No matter how well the coaching staff sold the program, there were recruits who just didn't want to play in the Big East.
That's no longer the case, of course. The Scarlet Knights are entering their fifth season in the Big Ten, arguably the nation's top league, and it's a "game-changer" move, according to head coach Chris Ash.
That doesn't mean it's Ash's main selling point on the trail.
