Rutgers' Chris Ash on RB depth: 'You can't keep 5 guys happy'

Miami grad-transfer Gus Edwards, senior Robert Martin and sophomore Trey Sneed are all earning first-team reps at tailback. Raheem Blackshear, a dynamic true freshman who stiff-armed Michigan State in committing to Rutgers on Signing Day last February, figures to be utilized in the offense in some form as well.

Rutgers also has capable reserves in senior Josh Hicks, redshirt sophomore Charles Snorweah and freshman Elijah Barnwell.

So how does Ash keep them all satisfied with touches?

"That's not our job, to keep everybody happy,'' Ash said. "Our job is to go out and move the ball and score points.
