Rutgers and Boston College will renew a Big East rivalry more than two decades after it flamed out.
The schools have agreed to a two-game home-and-home series for 2026 and 2027, NJ Advance Media has confirmed by obtaining a copy of the contract.
Rutgers will visit Boston College's Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, Mass. on Sept. 12, 2026 and host a return visit at High Point Solutions Stadium on Sept. 11, 2017.
The teams have not met since Boston College's bitter exit from the Big East in 2004, when it went from one of the teams scrambling to replace ACC-bound Virginia Tech and Miami to joining the first wave of departures in conference realignment.
