Rutgers' Andre Patton explains what went wrong on Chris Laviano's 1st TD

PISCATAWAY — Split wide with his defender seven yards off the line, Andre Patton sprinted 14 yards up the field before looking back at Rutgers quarterback Chris Laviano. With Patton having two steps of separation from the cornerback, Laviano fired his pass to Patton's backside, causing him to reverse course on the fly.

The result saw Patton haul in the pass in the front corner of the end zone while nimbly keeping keeping his feet inbounds. The 22-yard touchdown five minutes into the second quarter knotted the score, and helped pave the way for a 52-14 triumph.
