And so on a day when most sports fans around the country were focused on the Super Bowl, Goodale and Ayres relished Sunday's emotionally-charged 19-18 Rutgers victory at the RAC in front of over 5,200 fans that took in one of the state's favorite sports.
Not only was the match well-attended, it was tremendous theater for those in attendance and wrestling fans who watched on TV or on-line around the country.
