Say this about Rutgers coach Chris Ash: When it comes to celebrating the Scarlet Knights' place in college football lore, he'd prefer to simply lead his team.
In July, Ash was asked by NJ Advance Media if he had any thoughts on how Rutgers should celebrate the 150th anniversary of college football in 2019:
"Yeah, I'll be honest with you, I haven't put a lot of thought into it,'' Ash said at the time. "I'm just focused on this training camp, this year. I know it will be a pretty special year for college football and Rutgers and Princeton.
