Rutgers Alumna Erica Wheeler Wins WNBA All-Star Game MVP

Former Rutgers basketball star Erica Wheeler was named the MVP of the WNBA All-Star game on Saturday afternoon. Leading Team Wilson to a 129-126 victory in her first All-Star game appearance, Wheeler came off the bench and stole the show in front of a star studded crowd in Las Vegas. She scored a game high 25 points on 9 of 17 shooting, including 7 of 13 from three-point range after making her first six shots from deep. Wheeler also had 7 assists to zero turnovers and 4 rebounds.

In her fourth season with the Indiana Fever and sixth overall in the WNBA, Wheeler is having her best year so far.
