Rutgers AD Pat Hobbs on support for Chris Ash: Rivals can stop 'negatively recruiting against my coach'

Three days after rebuking a CBS Sports report that named Ash as one of five coaches who will have their jobs on the line this coming season, Hobbs offered his reasoning for the tweet.

"I have great respect for the craft of journalism, but I just thought for anybody to put Chris in sort of the top Power-5 coaches at risk (of being fired) .
