“I’m glad it’s over,’’ Ash said following his team’s 27-17 loss Saturday at Nebraska. “When we came here, myself and Pat Hobbs, we knew that there was an ongoing investigation and we knew we’d have to lead through it. And we made a lot of changes to how business is done in the athletic department and the football program and felt real confident about what that plan was and how we were going to do things moving forward.
“Thankfully the NCAA looked at it the same way. We can’t control what happened in the past; that’s out of our control.
