It was announced last night that RU Alum and former All-American Todd Frazier has been voted the starting third baseman for the National League in the upcoming MLB All-Star game on Tuesday, July 14th. Frazier was trailing Matt Carpenter of the St. Louis Cardinals as late as last week, but ended up winning with over nine million votes. The 86th All-Star Game will be held in Frazier's home park, the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. The Reds held a campaign to push for votes for Frazier to start at home in the mid-summer classic, which led to his come from behind victory.
