RU Alum and 2007 All-American Todd Frazier was named the NL Player of the Week for May 25th-31st. Frazier went 11-22 with four home runs, seven RBI and seven runs in six games. He led the Cincinnati Reds to a 4-2 record and a sweep of the National League East leading Washington Nationals.
As I wrote last month, Frazier is off to his best start of his career in his 5th major league season. In addition to a .287 batting average with 31 RBI and 6 stolen bases, he currently ranks among the National League leaders in the following statistical categories:
