Role Players Shine as Rutgers Men's Lacrosse Moves to 5-0

Depth and defense prevailed on Saturday as the Rutgers men's lacrosse was able to improve to 5-0 on the season after beating #19 Brown University 13-11.

With leading scorer Jules Heningburg held to only two assists, Freshman Kieran Mullins and midfielders Jeff George and Christian Scarpello stepped up in a big way combining for eight goals and two assists. Christian Mazzone also contributed a goal and an assist and face-off man Joe Francisco finished with 11 ground balls on the day to go along with his second goal of the season.

The defense once again stood out, especially Alex Bronzo and Michael Rexrode.
