Lucas Niang went into last Thursdays Rutgers visit looking to learn a lot about the program and accomplished that goal during nearly seven hours on campus.
The 6-6, 295-pound junior offensive tackle from New Canaan (Conn.), arrived on campus at 7:30 a.m. (ET) for positional meetings, accompanied by head coach Lou Marinelli and teammates Mike Collins and Will Conley, and they didn't leave campus until 2 p.m.
"It went pretty well," Niang told NJ Advance Media, Monday. "I learned a lot about Rutgers. It looks like they have a lot of fun there and they're a good team.
