Report: Rutgers Women’s Basketball Player Caitlin Jenkins Suspended Indefinitely

UPDATE: The charges against Jenkins have been dropped.

On Tuesday afternoon, Keith Sargeant and James Kratch of NJ Advance Media reported that Rutgers women’s basketball player Caitlin Jenkins has been suspended indefinitely due to an arrest this past Saturday.

From the report:

“Senior forward Caitlin Jenkins was arrested Saturday afternoon in New Brunswick and charged with simple assault and criminal mischief, according to court records. Both are disorderly person charges. Jenkins did not play in Sunday’s road game at Minnesota and the team announced her indefinite suspension “for a violation of team policy” in a post-game notes release.
