Report: Receiver Ahmed Bah Transfers From Rutgers Football

Related Topics: National Signing Day

It was reported Wednesday night by Bobby Deren of Rivals that redshirt freshman Ahmed Bah has transferred out of the program.

The former 3-star recruit had decommitted from Rutgers two months before National Signing Day over a year ago, only to flip back and ultimately sign with the Scarlet Knights. His former teammate at Grand Street in Brooklyn, New York, Taysir Mack, switched his own commitment from Rutgers on National Signing Day, ultimately ending up at Indiana.

While it’s unfortunate to see Bah leave the program, Rutgers just signed six receivers in the 2017 class, including 4-star recruit Bo Melton, in addition to having Jawuan Harris, Dacoven Bailey, and Ahmir Mitchell in the mix at the position after this coming season, among others.
