Though Virginia Tech has not yet announced the addition, it appears former Rutgers Football running back Raheem Blackshear will join the Hokies for the 2020 season per his twitter feed:
Blackshear elected not to play for the Scarlet Knights under interim Head Coach Nunzio Campanile after Chris Ash and offensive coordinator John McNulty were fired in September. Raheem played both wide receiver and running back in 2019, splitting carries with Isaih Pacheco before he voluntarily took himself out of the lineup.
Blackshear arrived to Rutgers as a borderline three-star recruit who had been previously committed to Michigan State.
