As we speculated in our class of 2015 review, Redshirt freshman quarterback Mike Dare is taking his talents somewhere other than Rutgers University. As we also mentioned, Knights fans will have a tough time if he rewrites the record books at his next stop.
From Bergen County like Mike Teel and the same home town as Gary Nova, Dare elected to stay “home” the first time, playing for his hometown Memorial High School in Elmwood Park, NJ, where he led the Crusaders as a four year starter. Dare then shined at Rutgers camp where he was offered as a pro-style passer with a big arm.
