Recap & BTN Interviews From Rutgers Football Spring Game

The Scarlet defeated the White by the score of 16-13 on Saturday evening. It was a damp, rainy night that saw the offense struggle to put points on the board. Of course, playmakers such as Janarion Grant sat out and the only scholarship quarterback to take the field was starter Gio Rescigno. It resulted in 14 punts in the scrimmage by both sides combined.

The White team didn’t actually score in the game, as the 2nd and 3rd string units were spotted 13 points to start the game. The Scarlet team scored 16 points, including the game’s only touchdown, which was a 28 yard pass from QB Gio Rescigno to WR Damon Mitchell.
