If it wasn't already the name of a book and a movie, "Great Expectations" would be a good name for the 2017 class of true freshmen at Rutgers.
The program's highest-rated recruiting class since 2012 should produce "a significant number" -- maybe a dozen? -- of immediate contributors, with a handful capable of making a great difference.
