For A.J. Blazek, the additional title he was given by Rutgers head coach Chris Ash was "good recognition'' for his efforts last season. But just because he's now the Rutgers assistant head coach, it doesn't mean he's forgotten his main title.
Blazek is the Rutgers offensive line coach, and it's not a job he takes lightly.
"It’s one of those things that when Chris needs things, and he’ll use me for some community stuff, but we’ve talked about some different things, but really I’m just the extra guy to help like the whole staff is,'' Blazek said, downplaying his assistant head coach title.
