To that end, Edwards' days are occupied by caring after his 1-year old son, Augustus Jr., and training for a professional-football future.
"I wake up every morning, make sure he eats, change his diaper when he needs that, and get ready for a workout,'' Edwards said. "I then come back home and spend some more time with him. It’s really great that I don’t have to worry about school now. I can just focus on football and my family.''
On the heels of earning Rutgers' most valuable offensive player award, Edwards began preparing in earnest for what he hopes to be a future in the NFL.
