A Penn State University trustee who claims to have extensively researched the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse case says Greg Schiano "had nothing to do with Sandusky scandal"
Schiano was a Penn State defensive assistant coach from 1990-95 before he became a household name as Rutgers head coach from 2001-11, head coach of the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2012-13 and Ohio State's defensive coordinator since 2016.
The University of Tennessee reportedly signed Schiano to a Memorandum of Understanding to be its next coach Sunday, before unprecedented backlash by the fan base caused the school to back out of the agreement.
