Tuesday, Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, N.Y.) three-star athlete Shameen Jones, a 6-2, 170-pounder, revealed via Twitter that he has committed to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

Jones picked Rutgers over offers from Temple, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Coastal Carolina and six FCS schools.
Northwestern, Wisconsin, and N.C. State appeared close to offering but hadn't done so at the time of Jones' decision.
