The No. 8 Rutgers women’s soccer team won its seventh straight game on Sunday and improved to 6-0 in Big Ten play with a 1-0 win over Iowa (8-5-1; 2-4-0) at rain soaked Yurcak Field. The Scarlet Knights are now 11-2 overall and atop the Big Ten standings with 18 points.

Rutgers dominated the action by holding a 27-6 shot advantage in the game, including a 12-3 edge in shots on goal. RU held a 19-1 shot advantage in the second half alone. However, they were unable to finish on scoring chances until late in the game.
