The Rutgers University wrestling team picked up three seeds for next week's NCAA Wrestling Championships in St. Louis
Former South Plainfield four-time undefeated state champion and two-time All-American Anthony Ashnault was the highest seed at No. 5 in the 141-pound bracket. If the seeds hold up, he would meet Princeton's fourth-seeded Matt Kolodzik in a quarterfinal rematch of a late win by Kolodzik in the teams' Battle of the Birthplace matchup in High Point Solutions Stadium.
John Van Brill was seeded 14th at 157 pounds with a first-round matchup against Colt Shorts of Cal Poly.
