N.J.'s top 2-way lineman Khris Banks picks Temple over Rutgers

The recruitment of DePaul's (Wayne, N.J.) Khris Banks, arguably the top two-way lineman in N.J., has come to an end with the 6-3, 295-pound senior picking Temple over Rutgers.

As of Monday, following his official visit to Rutgers, Banks apparently was sold on staying home. But as reality continued to set it, he felt Temple was a better fit.

"Temple offered me first and I grew a better bond just going up there, talking with the coaches over time," Banks told NJ.com Tuesday afternoon. "They were just being them. They work you hard, but they also have a lot of fun.
