The successful weekends continue for the Scarlet Knights as redshirt freshman Nico Aguilar (125) and sixth-year senior Jordan Pagano (197) captured individual titles at the Navy Classic on Saturday.
As a team, Rutgers finished 5th in the 18 team field and collected 83.3 points with 15 pins. You can see the full results here.
Sammy Alvarez (133) and Billy Janzer (184) both finished sixth in their weight classes, going 4-1 and 4-2 respectively.
Freshman JoJo Aragona (141) did not wrestle for precautionary reasons as he is dealing with a hamstring issue. Head coach Scott Goodale did say he would have wrestled if necessary according to a report from NJ Advance Media.
