Nick Suriano, who is coming off his National Title over Oklahoma State’s Daton Fix, will participate in the Beat the Streets event with his teammate and fellow National Champion Anthony Ashnault.
Rutgers commit and incoming freshman JoJo Aragona will also compete.
Colon was a bronze medalist at the 2018 World championships at 61kg in Budapest and a two-time NCAA qualifier at Northern Iowa. He went 62-6 in two years in Cedar Falls and is currently a volunteer assistant coach at Fresno State.
Not only will Suriano and Ashnault compete at this event, they are already on the list of qualifiers for the World Team Trials, which determine the spots on Team USA and give those wrestlers the inside track of representing the United States at the 2020 Olympics.
