NCAA Wrestling Championships 2018 allocations announced | How many for Big Ten?

The Big Ten has been allocated 80 automatic qualifier spots for the 2018 NCAA Wrestling Championships.

The NCAA released its automatic qualifier totals across the eight wrestling conferences ahead of the national championships, which will be held March 15-17 in Cleveland. Automatic qualifier spots will be filled at the respective conference championship meets next week.

Rutgers will compete in the Big Ten Championships on March 3-4 in East Lansing, Michigan.

Each weight class in Cleveland will have 33 wrestlers, so a total of 330 wrestlers will compete at NCAAs. Two-hundred and eighty-three automatic qualifier spots were allocated, so the NCAA Division-1 Wrestling Committee will award 47 additional at-large bids after the completion of the conference championships.
