Consider this a win for coaches who don't get much sleep in January fearing last-second flipped commitments during the lead-up to National Signing Day.

Speaking of which, the out-sized pomp and circumstance of the first Wednesday in February might get toned down a little bit now.

Coaches can lock up their class leaders in December and work on solidifying other commits or plugging holes in the final weeks.
