PISCATAWAY – Kiy Hester looks forward to hopping in a tub filled with ice cold water.
It’s not that Hester is immune to the shock to the system that causes some Rutgers football players to shriek every day during the post-practice ritual. It’s more indicative of his maturation and comfort level.
“Last year, I went into camp not knowing how it was going to go,” Hester said. “This year, I know how hard it is going to be. I know how to take care of my body: Ice bath twice a day, get massages. Last year I was just: Practice, get banged up, go to my room and go to sleep.
