Meet Rutgers' Johnathan Lewis, who could be the rare freshman QB to start in the Big Ten

Even before his commitment to Rutgers was official, on the day before he put his name on the dotted line of the Letter of Intent, Johnathan Lewis made his No. 1 goal clear:

"(Winning the starting job) is very realistic to me,'' the St. Peter's Prep star quarterback told NJ Advance Media last January. "I'm a born competitor. I compete every day, and that's what I'm going to keep doing. There's only one goal in mind — to win the starting job.''

Whether that goal is attainable depends on how Lewis plays in August, when the Scarlet Knights go through a three-week training camp in preparation for the 2017 campaign.
