PISCATAWAY -- Raheem Blackshear has "speedy" as part of his Twitter user name.
He might need to amend it to include another description of his running style: Bruising.
The Rutgers true freshman halfback made the most of his six carries Saturday in a 35-24 win over Illinois, finishing with 87 yards and two of the most important plays of the game.
"He's not scared," coach Chris Ash said. "He doesn't avoid contact."
Actually, Blackshear initiates it. At least he did on a 19-yard touchdown run that gave Rutgers a 7-0 first-quarter lead.
