I can’t muster any other description for this game than to say how disappointing it was. That signals progress to some degree, in terms of feeling let down rather than apathy after last season. However, after their recent close losses, this game felt like a step back. In fairness, Maryland is no slouch, as they head home with a 11-6 conference record and a 23-7 record overall. They did hit a rough patch, losing five of their past seven, including three in a row, entering this game. Unfortunately, Rutgers did not play well and the Terps got back to their winning ways much easier than we had all hoped they would.
