While some college prospects pour over offers during the season, Taysir Mack had his mind made up all the way back in June. The Brooklyn, New York resident chose Rutgers over a pair of other strong opportunities and potentially many more down the pike. And, even though much has changed on campus between when Mack initially committed and today, his decision has not changed.
The program's major change, of course, was the dismissal of coach Kyle Flood. The program also lost the commitment of Mack's teammate, Ahmed Bah. The two wide receivers are - predictably - close, and the duo even pledged to Rutgers on the same day.
